Welcome to About Theatre

We are a small theatre company from Lancaster, in England's North West. The company formed several years ago to produce theatre works that were new to the local area and of specific interest to the company's founder, Roger Bradley.
Our first two productions were Girl's Night Out and Company, followed in 2007 by Sondheim's Putting It Together and in 2009 by Godspell. These were in support of the Company's melanoma charity The Bradley Fund. They met with great success and critical acclaim (you can read a review here) and between them we raised over £11,000.

The Roger Bradley Tribute Fund

Roger Bradley, AboutTheatre's founder, was a well loved performer/director in Lancaster, who died on February 11th 2007 after a long battle with skin cancer. Please light a candle for Roger, this will help us to support our melanoma charity - The Bradley Fund

About Theatre donate £5000 to Rosemere Cancer Foundation. All the company of Godspell were present to see Anne Sweeney accept a cheque on Behalf of Rosemere. This increases the total we have raised to over £11000"
